Module 18 – Internal to External Style
AT THIS POINT, YOU SHOULD…
You should be able to go through the entire form focusing on one principle at a time. You should also start to be able to combine the martial arts applications with one other principle, ex. Balance and martial arts application. You should also start to be able to breathe through each move appropriately to support the relaxation and the martial arts application.
WHAT YOU WILL NOW LEARN:
This is not a basic principle. It is outside of the “benefits” of Tai Chi, but is very enjoyable for your students.
ACTION PLAN:
Watch the entire video once all the way through. Understand the concept of beginning and ending at the same place. Note the “problem” areas so you can teach your students.
This class should be taught “every now and then.” It is not important for the benefits of Tai Chi, but is very enjoyable for your students.
